Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Miav", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Miav, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Miav.
1. Who can use Miav
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old to use Miav. You may not use Miav if we have previously banned you, or if the law where you live prohibits it. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, so keep your password to yourself.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating Miav — for example, showing your post to the people who follow you. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has already been shared with others or where we must keep it for the safety and legal reasons in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post.
3. Rules of behaviour
Miav is meant to be a friendly place. You may not:
- Harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone.
- Post sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a minor, in any form. We report this to the authorities without exception.
- Post content that is illegal, incites violence, or promotes hatred against a group of people.
- Post other people's private information without their consent.
- Spam, run scams, or artificially inflate engagement.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to any part of Miav or to another user's account.
- Use automated systems to access Miav except as we expressly permit.
4. Moderation and enforcement
If you break these rules we may remove content, limit what your account can do, suspend it, or ban it permanently — and in serious cases we may do so without warning. We record every such action. If you think we have made a mistake, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will review it.
5. Coins, gifts and purchases
Miav uses coins, a virtual currency. Important things to understand:
- Coins are a limited licence to use a digital feature. They are not money, not a deposit, and not your property. They have no cash value outside Miav.
- Coins are non-refundable and non-transferable except as the law requires or as we expressly allow. Purchases are handled by the app store you bought them through, and that store's refund policy applies.
- Every coin movement is recorded in a permanent ledger. If we find that coins were obtained through fraud, error or a bug, we may reverse the transaction.
- We may change coin prices or discontinue coins. If we discontinue them entirely we will give reasonable notice.
[TO COMPLETE: if creators can ever convert received gifts into real money, that payout arrangement needs its own section and probably its own agreement. No payout system exists in Miav today.]
6. Live streams and calls
Live streams and calls are subject to the same rules as everything else. Recording another user without their knowledge may be illegal where you live, and is your responsibility, not ours.
7. Ending your account
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Miav. Unused coins are forfeited on termination for a rules violation.
8. Miav is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep Miav running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or secure. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to [LIABILITY CAP]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Miav after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
[TO COMPLETE: governing law and the courts that have jurisdiction — depends on where the operating entity is established.]
